Motivursprung ist Osttibet, Mitte des 19. Jh. Dieses Mandala war die Druckvorlage für die Darstellung im Tushita-Kalender. Kleinere Farbabweichungen im Kalender sind möglich

This beautiful thangka depicts the mythical land of northern Shambala, the paradisal land, which is located somewhere in the North, Mongolia, Siberia or the polar regions. Motif origin is eastern Tibet, mid-19th C. This mandala was the template for printing the Tushita calendar. Minor color variations are possible in the calendar
